Update update :P

Wah, its been almost a week since my last post :P

Nvm nvm.. This compensates everything, hehe.

As usual the days passed by and its mostly mundane until well FRIDAY :)

Okie. THis is the first time i made a tiramisu cake :P
LOL and its my own recipe too..First i read the online recipes until i understood the concept then i tried my own recipe.. but it turned out to be a tiramisu with a strong chocolate and mocha taste :P

Too bad I dont have the time to take the picture. Once ive done it, i left it in the fridge to be refrigerated for few hours. During those few hours, i went to a party :P

Its basically a party organized by the seniors(3rd yr) from TAYLOR'S College to celebrate a friend's birthday and the theme was something connected to hair :P

We must either colour our hair, make a weird style, put wig, etc :P

In the end it turned out to be quite colourful..There were people with white hair, brown hair, green hair, pink hair, lol ...

FUrthermore there were friends who wore beard which made him looks like santa (a relatively weird santa with popping eyeballs too, lol.He was wearing some spekz with dangling eyeballs), an old man, marilyn monroe, hawaiian girl, red indian and most of all a phantom of opera cum monk who was most obscene of all :P

Halfway during the party, i went back with ML to my room temporarily for her to try the tiramisu as she will be going back on monday :) Then we went back to the pa rty and dance again :P

THe dances were WEIRD..Obscene dances, weird moves, egyptian style, kekeke :P
THe party ended at 12am and therefore my friends and me went back to BARA.
On the way back, the girls (6 ppl) wanted to try my tiramisu. So we went to my room and they tried the tiramisu. Apparently I think its edible because there was no comment :P

Kekeke..all in all, it was a nice day i guess :D

2nd Time making cake

This is the second cake i made in my life so far, its a moist cake and i name it Snowie Hunny Chocolate! :P

Well i didnt take the picture of raw materials or while i was baking the cake, was busy.. SO i can only show the end result and WHoalla!! I present to you, CCCCCccccchef Jiann :P

Before adding any snow flakes - looks like ordinary chocolate cake with frostings right?

Looks more palatable now right? :) hehe..

Apparently there was something wrong with my camera when i took this picture. GOt some whirring sound and well, it was not that sharp. Hopefully it will go off soon...

Making cake was fun but pity my poor hands...USed manpower instead of machinery to make this cake :P

Trip to Cessnock - Vineyard

Trip to Cessnock on Friday was fun. I mean we did get lost a few times and did a few U-turns, but nevertheless it was fun. We went in a group, 7 girls and 2 guys including me. Can you believe it that more than half of the biomed class are girls. Sheesh!! During the trip, the most captivating thing i found on this trip was cows :P lol..Truthfully i was mesmerized by the cows. There was a group of cows, sitting or grazing together in a circle as if they were having some meeting. lol..Too bad i took out my camera too late. Anyway i bought a green chilli jam - purrrfectly tasty, 3 Reese's chocolate - yummy, 2 bottles of wine - night harvest and botrytis- superb and a Turkish Delight - sadly not to my liking. So let the picture and figure legend do the talking, shall we?

First stop, Garden Village. A small serene village with chocolate shops, cellar, sweet shop, ice cream shop, general store, etc.

Oh my, that is a BIG wine bottle, I bet it can provide drinks for the whole village if it is not made of plastic n stones :P

Hmm, the altar? Is that what it is called..A peaceful chapel with the village kind of look.

The garden, initially the plan was to visit this place but the entrance fee is AUD 20, so in the end decided not to enter. Its a tad too expensive, dont you think so?

The place where we bought our wines. This is located near the Garden Village. The lady who served us wine was very friendly unlike the woman who served us in Garden Village. (as it is a vineyard area, there were like dozens of vineyards around) I think 6 of us bought 13 bottles of wines and therefore we were entitled to 10% discount and also another bottle of dessert wine worth AUD 30 free :)

After that we went over to the cheese shop...Hmm, wait a minute, i think we went over to the cheese shop first then only to the cellar..Keke..Anyway in the cheese shop, we tried lots of cheese :P from normal to mouldy ones like White cheese and Blue cheese. White cheese is like totally covered with white molds and blue cheese has blue molds in it. DIdnt try the white cheese but did try the blue cheese..IT was YUMMY!!!!!!!! kekeke..never thought i would like molds, lol... AFter that we came back to newcastle and at night time we went over to the beach for a little wind (it was kinda cold). Before we hit the sack, we went over to Wai yi's room for a few games of poker and also to savour the free bottle of wine :)

All in all, i found out that i have weird likings to weird things like being mesmerized by congregation of cows, bought a dessert wine with botrytis (which is either a mold or a fungus) and also found out that i love blue mouldy cheese :P
